Why Was Millie Bobby Brown On the Set of Avengers: Infinity War?

The Russo brothers’ Facebook photo of Millie Bobby Brown has  already triggered a rising tide of speculation as to whether or not the Stranger Things star will appear in Avengers: Infinity War – and if so, what part will she play?

The photo has a bespectacled Brown seated beside the two brothers. Gone is the trademark baldiness and she sports a new hairdo All three are watching what seems to be scenes taken from the Avengers‘ current shoot. The Facebook pichas only one phrase: “Guest director Millie Bobby Brown.”

The brothers had dropped similar supposedly simple hints in Captain America: Civil War years ago, and which did make their way into film as important scenes. It is why fans find it hard to believe that this pic is just that: a pic of three friends watching results from a shoot.

Mashable has made a list of potential characters that Brown can play. My own bet is on Polaris, the younger sister of Wanda and Quicksilver (who died onscreen). In the comic books, Polaris is a thirtysomething mistress of magnetism. But Wanda is still very much in her early twenties in the film, which makes the 11-year-old Brown right for the part  of Polaris.

Place a photo of Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda, beside that of Brown, and the two actually look like sisters.
