The Good Place season 3 nearly upon us all…

THE GOOD PLACE is back for a third season this September.

The American sitcom created by Michael Schur, which started in 2016, has gained a cult following both in America and overseas.

The Good Place tells the story of Eleanor Shellstrop (played by Kristen Bell), who dies after being hit by a truck.

She wakes up in the secular equivalent of heaven, called ‘The Good Place’, where all the ‘best people’ go to when they died for their kind and generous deads on Earth.

But Eleanor is not a ‘good person’ so to avoid being sent to the ‘The Bad Place’, she tries to mask her bad behavior with the help of her friends.

Eleanor is helped and hindered by her “soul-mate” Chidi (William Jackson Harper), the over-achieving Tahani (Jameela Jamil) and brainless Jason (Manny Jacinto).

Who will be in The Good Place season 3?

The main cast will be back with Ted Danson and Kristen Bell taking the helm, along with Jameela Jamil, William Jackson Harper and Manny Jacinto.

The omniscient Janet played by D’Arcy Carden will be reprising her role and a number of guest stars are expected to show up as in seasons one and two.

Adam Scott could be making an appearance as Trevor, the insufferable Bad Place demon and all powerful eternal judges Shawn (Marc Evan Jackson) and Jen (Maya Rudolph) could be back too.

Other recurring characters that may be making a comeback for season three are Mindy St. Claire (Maribeth Monroe), Derek Hoffstettler (Jason Mantzoukas) and Vicky Sengupta (Tiya Sirdar).
