Stranger Things Season 3 Will Be ‘Very Different’ From The First 2 Seasons

Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 3 will be “very different” from the first two seasons, says series star Noah Schnapp. During the interview, the Will Byers actor talked about how the third season will have a different vibe compared to the previous two seasons because it will take place during the summer of 1985.

“It’s very different this season because it’s in the summer, so you kind of get to see a different version of everyone,” Schnapp explained.

The 13-year-old actor also teased that the third season will combine the comedic tone of Season 1 with the darker elements of Season 2. Schnapp also confirmed that Lucas’ young sister Eric (Priah Ferguson) will have a bigger role in Season 3, as she’ll have her own storyline after becoming a series regular.

Production for the upcoming series started in April, and it’s expected to have fewer episodes. Season 3 will take place a year after the events of the second season.
