STAR WARS: ANDY SERKIS HINTS ‘SNOKE’ COULD POSSIBLY RETURN…

Star Wars: The Last Jedi stunned audiences when Supreme Leader Snoke met his demise at the hands of his apprentice Kylo Ren, leaving little to no answers on his background and motivations to the chagrin of several fans.

Serkis commented on Snoke’s death and appeared to insinuate that the Supreme Leader could potentially return from the dead:

“Look, it’s Star Wars, so you never know how life, or whether life can be come back to or not. Whether you can be resuscitated or brought back. I was shocked. Dramatically, it felt absolutely right for that moment in the film, so I didn’t question it. I just think it’s a very, very important scene, so I didn’t question it. But I do, I know it’s left fans feeling like, that they were really searching for something there. And what I’m saying is, who knows?”

It’s no stretch to qualify Star Wars: The Last Jedi as a controversial film with audiences. The two big mysteries – Rey’s parentage and Snoke’s origins– were left unsolved, as part of the film’s message of breaking from the status quo that the Star Wars series has operated within.

Should Snoke return in some form for Episode IX or was his death the right creative decision for the story?

And with the return of J.J. Abram’s return to the universe, who knows what will happen!
