PREDATOR 2 NEWS: Updated cat member…

Alfie Allen, fame and talent run’s through the family

Culturedemandsgeeks loves monsters, and especially loves intergalactic monsters hunting humans, so, Director Shane Black has just shared a cast photo from The Predator, which began production in Vancouver, Canada earlier this week, shortly after Black’s reaffirmation of the R-rating.

Check below: he shared the first look at the cast of the film, including Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jacob Tremblay! Take a look below!

But the movie is still adding cast members. The latest to join is Alfie Allen (above), who may be best known for his role as Theon Greyjoy in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Allen will portray a former Marine who teams up with other fighting characters against an alien creature that has traveled to Earth to hunt humans, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Though the creature hasn’t seen many great iterations since Arny took him on in 1987, Shane Black’s upcoming THE PREDATOR promises to bring the alien hunter back to his glorious, bone-snapping, blood-gushing glory. In this day and age to no one would put it past the studio to want a more marketable PG-13 rated flick, but Black is reassuring fans that’s not gonna happen on his watch.

Shane Black was an inspired choice to helm the new PREDATOR movie. He is an American screenwriter, director, producer and actor, known for writing the 1987 action film hit Lethal Weapon, and his directorial debut with the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005. His acting credits include appearing in Predator. It would’ve been easy to hire some run-of-the-mill director to give us some regular action flick, but Black’s style is something the series desperately needs. He’s able to wring funny, complex performances from his cast, tip genres on their head, and deliver gleeful violence when it’s suitable.

At the end of the day, THE PREDATOR will never not be suitable for violence, so expect it by the buckets Culturedemandsgeeks, by the buckets!

As previously rumored, the movie is set in suburbia. It’s slated for release on February 9, 2018.
