NEW STAR WARS ACTION FIGURE SERIES TO A SHOP NEAR YOU!

It’s hard to believe that 40 years have passed since those first fateful words blazed through our movie screens, “Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away…”  But the Star Wars saga has been a huge part of our pop culture these past four decades. Now we can relive those encounters with the Skywalkers, Han Solo, and our other favourite characters with Hasbro’s release of new toys right in time for the first film’s 40th anniversary.

According to Io9, a lot of this merchandise  which will be centred on A New Hope will be released starting spring, and continue the rest of the year. They include:

These 3.75-inch figurines of Luke Skywalker, Leia, Han, Obi-Wan, and Darth Vader are the latest in the Titanium series. They come with accessories and two different backdrops that will place these iconic characters in different scenes.

And since no war can run without ton loads of cash, the Star Wars (and ultimate family fun game) Monopoly intermixes fund-raising and money-making with iconic images from the film. Tokens that move along the board include Darth Vader, the Millennium Falcon, and R2D2.

The Black Series 6-inch figurines will also return starting off with Luke in his X-Wing uniform. Now that’s what we call fun, favourite  playing time for kid’s of all ages. Can’t wait to get your hands on the figures, neither can Culturedemandsgeeks.
