Culrturedemandsgeeks don’t find it strange the teen titan, Millie Bobby Brown will become Hollywood’s youngest producer at 13 years old. The actress, best-known as the super-powered Eleven, is not just stepping in as producer on one movie, but is planning a whole franchise based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries book series.
Brown’s own company PCMA Productions (what, you didn’t have your own company at 13?) will handle producing duties, with the actress also starring as Sher;ock Holmes’ younger sister in the first movie, which is expected to be based on The Case of the Missing Marquess.
Springer published the first novel, Marquess, in 2006, and followed that up with five more, so we could be watching this franchise for years to come.
Although Stranger Things is set to run for at least five seasons -with season three underway – and Brown is assured tonnes of roles after it, she is a smart girl not to put all her eggs in one basket.
Some of Hollywood’s biggest names have enjoyed a career as an actor and producer, so it certainly sounds like Brown is planning for the future. There is no indication yet of when Legendary plans to begin filming The Enola Holmes Mysteries, or when the first movie will be in UK and US cinemas.
