Our love for Netflix has just increased to maximum overdrive. The streaming platform as announced two new cast members joining season three of their smash-hit original series Stranger Things.

Cary Elwes has been cast in the role of “Mayor Kleine and Jake Busey joins as “Bruce”
In Stranger Things Season 3, Cary Elwes joins the cast as Mayor Kline, a handsome, slick, and sleazy, Mayor Kline is your classic 80s politician — more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town he governs.
Cary Elwes was recently a series regular on his show THE ART OF MORE, which has wrapped its second season. He stars in this opposite Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth and Christian Cooke. Elwes shot THE BILLIONAIRES BOYS CLUB, and can be seen starring in the theatrical release THE QUEEN OF SPAIN, opposite Penelope Cruz. SUGAR MOUNTAIN, opposite Jason Momoa; and WE DON’T BELONG HERE.
Elwes is perhaps best known for his roles in Academy Award winning films GLORY, DAYS OF THUNDER and BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA, box-office hits HOT SHOTS!, TWISTER, LIAR LIAR and SAW, and the cult classics ROBIN HOOD: MEN IN TIGHTS and THE PRINCESS BRIDE. He has also played popular recurring roles in THE X-FILES and the highly rated comedy series PSYCH.

Busey will play a character called Bruce. Bruce is ‘a journalist for The Hawkins Post, with questionable morals and a slick sense of humor’ He is best known for playing the serial-killing, demonic spirit that appears in Peter Jackon’s The Frighteners, opposite Michael J Fox.
In addition, the series has also cast Maya Thurman-Hawke as a new lead, as well as Priah Ferguson who returns to recur after being introduced in Stranger Things 2 as Erica Sinclair – the younger sister of Lucas (Mclaughlin).
