Jay And Silent Bob Are Returning With A New Film…

It looks like Kevin Smith’s iconic stoner duo Jay and Silent Bob will be returning for a new movie, 16 years after the release of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

The announcement was made by Kevin Smith, who plays Bob alongside his acting partner .

“16 years ago, #JayAndSilentBobStrikeBack was released in theaters,” he wrote. “And this Fall, we shoot a follow-up flick called #JayAndSilentBobReboot!”.

Filming will begin over the next few month with a release date yet to be confirmed.

The film, hopefully, will be “a tongue-in-cheek, silly-ass satire that pokes fun at the movie business’s recent re-do obsession” and we can expect “an all-star cast of cameos and familiar faces.”
