Deadpool and Wolverine teaming up!

The possibility of alluring charm, sharp wit and claws, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in the same film as Wolverine and Deadpool, respectively, has been a hot topic recently. Last week, a rumour (we all love rumours) surfaced online, claiming that Reynolds was shooting a scene with Deadpool 2 director David Leitch for Logan film but was quickly debunked by Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Logan director James Mangold.

While according to other sources, Reynolds and Jackman may be working on other projects together, the two recently discussed possibilities of Deadpool and Wolverine sharing the same screen.

“I would love to play Deadpool for as long as they would let me play Deadpool,” Reynolds told Variety. “We have outlines and stories for a number of different films.”

But Jackman might need more convincing since Logan will be his final film as Wolverine. “I’m hesitating, Jackman said. “because I could totally see how that’s the perfect fit. But the timing may be wrong.”

Of course, Reynolds, who’s as persistent as his foul-mouthed character isn’t giving up that possibility.

“I have no idea if I can change his mind,” Reynolds said. “It’s the audience: I would exclusively exploit that relationship to get Hugh back for another one.”
