DAREDEVIL: SEASON 3 SPOILERS…

In Season 3, it is revealed that Matt fell into a body of water when Midland Circle collapsed in The Defenders. He gets sucked into a drainage pipe and ends up on the Manhattan shore.

Luckily, Matt is spotted by a taxi driver and the vigilante managed to give the man the address of Father Lantom’s church (which, eagle-eyed viewers may remember from the last episode!).

At first, Father Lantom and Sister Maggie debate on whether they should turn Matt over to the authorities. However, they decide it would be best to nurse him back to health. Once Matt gains consciousness, he starts asking Father Lantom about Elektra Natchios’ whereabouts. The priest tells him about Elektra’s funeral.

Interestingly, Father Lantom is actually talking about the funeral that took place before The Hand resurrected Elektra. Although Matt insists his girlfriend was alive, the priest tells him that nobody else escaped the Midland Circle disaster.

Although it sounds like Elektra didn’t survive, Matt seems to believe that she managed to find a way out(and Culturedemandsgeeks think so, too!) Did she fall into the same body of water and was found by The Hand on the shore? Could this mean that Elektra will return either to help Matt or revert back to being the Black Sky in the future? Hopefully, the truth will be revealed soon.
